We build the machines that go first.

D-Rube Labs & Research Pvt. Ltd. designs and builds autonomous systems for defence: ground vehicles, uncrewed aircraft and the operating system that runs them.

We are a Kerala company with one belief: the most dangerous work on a mission should be done by machines, and those machines should be designed, built and supported in India.

How we got here.

  1. Starting on the beach

    drubelabs began as a clean-tech robotics company. Our first platform, Scout Bot, is a rover that cleans beaches on its own, and building it taught us autonomy in salt, sand and heat.

  2. Incubation and growth

    We completed ideation, market research and prototyping at AIC Anna Incubation Centre, Anna University, Chennai, then moved to Kerala Startup Mission in Kalamassery to build at scale.

  3. Turning to defence

    The rugged autonomy we built for harsh coastlines fits defence work. We developed STRYKER, an unmanned ground vehicle for patrol, reconnaissance and logistics.

  4. A full defence stack

    Today we build across ground and air: STRYKER, the Nemesis uncrewed aerial systems, and DRL Sentinel OS, the operating system that connects them.

Build it ourselves

Mechanical design, PCBs, embedded systems, autonomy and software are all done in-house, so we can change a design in days and support it for years.

Humans stay in command

Our systems extend what operators can do. Decisions that matter stay with trained people.

Critical defence technology should be designed, built and controlled at home.

Prove it in the field

We test on real terrain in real conditions, not only in the lab.
